The Curtin Sustainable Tourism Centre (CSTC) is jointly supported by the Office of Research and Development, Curtin Business School and the Faculty of Humanities. The CSTC focuses on research into tourism development, including design, planning, management, indigenous issues and environmental and social concerns from a sustainability perspective. Both industry/government consultation and funded research is undertaken by the centre.

The CSTC fosters collaboration between researchers across a range of disciplines as well as offering supervision for post graduate research in the field of tourism. CSTC has developed a range of strong government and business partnerships and conducts high quality, academically rigorous research with relevant and practical applications.
