CSTC

The Curtin Sustainable Tourism Centre (CSTC) is jointly supported by Curtin Business School and the Faculty of Humanities. It is a designated Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Tourism Research, closely linked to the Commonwealth funded Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre. The CSTC focuses on research into tourism development, including design, planning, management, indigenous issues and environmental and social concerns from a sustainability perspective. Both industry/government consultation and funded research is undertaken by the centre.

The CSTC fosters collaboration between researchers across a range of disciplines, coupled with establishment of government and business partnerships affords a high quality of academically rigorous research with relevant and practical applications. The CSTC is working towards positioning its Sustainable Tourism teaching and research programs at Curtin at the forefront of thinking in this area.
