- Australian tourism businesses accreditation - identifying any barriers or constraints to the uptake of business accreditation; development of a model of drivers determining business performance.
- Investigation into the potential for comparative studies of tourism and recreation in WA and British Colombia.
- Indigenous tourism in regional Western Australia : issues of ownership and access.
- Various consultancies with government agencies and tourism organisations relating to assessment of tourism development potential and associated issues. For example:
- Inventory of tourism assets and development potential on rangeland pastoral properties recently purchased by WA Dept. of Conservation;
- Valuation of cultural heritage tourism in WA for the WA Heritage Council;
- Establishment of an online Industry Performance Analysis feedback system for tourism regions in WA;
- Review of human-wildlife interaction guidelines in Western Australia for the WA government
